ThanoSeal™ is an occlusive incision and wound sealant made of high strength polymer film with an extremely aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive.

Usage

ThanoSeal™ tape may be used to seal incisions, wounds , punctures, lacerations, abrasions and skin slip. DO NOT use on living tissue.

Directions

Clean and dry the area around the incision or wound. Please note: Moisture and debris on the tissue may result in an incomplete seal
Select the ThanoSeal™ tape size suitable to cover the incision or wound and the surrounding area
With forceps, pull up one corner of the tape to remove it from the release liner
Apply firm and even pressure to ThanoSeal™ tape to complete the seal and maximize the adhesive bond

Recommendations

ThanoSeal™ tape works best on a surface that is above 55° F
A cotton based product is most effective for cleaning application area
To avoid waste, minimize unintended contact of ThanoSeal™ tape to complete the seal and maximize the adhesive bond
